Warlock Best Spec for Leveling

With the Arivial of DeathWing, the surface of Azeroth has change for ever, from the path of destruction, he has left. The third long awaited expansion of World of Warcraft. Nothing is as it use to be, zones including levels of these zones and even classes have been changed. Warlock since vinilla have been a strong caster dps and nothing has change with this new expansion. Cataclysm has brought changes to all of their talents trees and changed their spell book as well. Leveling has never been more fun or challenging as it is in Cataclysm, and it is your time to bring your warlock to level 85. What spec to choose when leveling is a question you might ask yourself. Since warlocks are a dps class and all three of there specs are dps, you would think anyone of them would be good, but which is the best.

One of the greatest advantages about warlock leveling is you normally don't have any down time and this is because you are able to life tap to get your mana back and then you can life drain for health of soul harvest, and it is because of these three moves that you can go anyone of the 3 specs for warlocks. However, there are quite a few differences between these specs. We can honestly say that destruction is the weakest of the three talent trees for leveling as you are not able to AoE or chain pull like a machine killer which is the case with the other two builds.

Demonology

If you choose to go demonology then you must have your felguard as you pet and nothing else. Demo is all about your pets and it's damage in a way sort of like a Beast Master Hunter, of course the warlock is still in control and does need to still do allot. His whirlwind ability will allow you to pull multiple monsters and just AoE them down especially when you use metamorphosis turning yourself into an almost immortal demon for 30 seconds with a 3 minute cooldown. This spec will allow you to reach the hand of guldan, and Aura of Foreboding, these will both allow you to aoe mobs down faster, increasing your leveling speed.

Second Warlock Spec Affiction

If you decide to go with an affliction build, your damage will come from your dots and drain when needed. Regarding your pet, use your Voidwalker at start and if you feel you are taking down your enemies fast enough to avoid getting hit much or preferably at all you might consider using your Succubus for some extra damage. Affliction warlock is basically a killing machine, you never stop, you dot up one monster and immediately start dotting up the next one, as the previous target is dying. Afflication is the best of the three specs because it has the ability to have no down time( no time when you sit and eat of drain or stop for regen) and the other spec need and have some down time, so if you want the fastest way to level to 85 then affliction is the way to go.
